Autodesk Inventor Mesh Enabler Google Drive

The Inventor Mesh Enabler is a free Technology Preview that enables Inventor users to work with imported Mesh data. As shipped Inventor 2012 can import mesh data from Catia files. In addition to Catia files, Inventor 2013 can import mesh data from STL files and from JT files. On the Applications tab select Autodesk Mesh Enabler; Select the Load Automatically checkbox; Click OK; To convert an STL mesh file to a solid model. Start Autodesk Inventor; Open the STL mesh file; In the browser right-click the MeshFeature1 element and select Convert to Base Feature; In the dialog box select the output you need and click OK. Solid/Surfaces: Converts the selected mesh features to multi-solids or individual surfaces.

(please bear with me, this is my first post and I am very new to Autodesk products) Hello I need help with a project I am attempting to do on Inventor. I used Google Sketchup to create a model and realized that it needed to be in inventor- I exported the sketchup as an.stl and imported it into inventor. However, it imported it as a mesh instead of solid. I can't figure out how to make it solid and I need it badly. (Yes, I know, I should have thought this through before using sketchup). Any help is appreciated, thank you I am using the student license for Inventor 2014 Edited May 27, 2014 by Dmonheart Forgot some information critical to post.

Do you understand the geometric definition of a 'plane'? An stl file divides up the surfaces of an object into small triangular faceted planar surfaces. So if you have a round cylinder - it is simplified into a large number of planar facets that approximate a curve. The more facets - the closer to being a curve. But never a curve. Stl file are generally of little use in an engineering program other than for reference. Unless your design was simple boxes - you will probably not be satisfied with the results of the conversion of stl to solid.

AutoCAD Inventor:: Copy Of Mesh Enabler Add On Nov 29, 2013 where I can find and download a copy of Mesh Enabler add on for Inventor 2011? Every link I try brings me to the same page to download it for 2013. It wont install because it says an older version of the add-in exisits. Control Panel won't uninstall it becasure it says Inventor not installed. Any thoughts on how to remove the old version of feature recognition? Apr 9, 2012 I have an assembly that has somewhere a hole with a round bar that exactly fits in this hole.

But when meshing the assembly, the mesh of the hole and the mesh of the bar are different. The result is that the different parts do only seem to touch each other at the edges of the mesh, resulting in high stresses. I tried to made a derived part from the assembly, but that one does not finish meshing. After 48 hours, the progress bar is still half way. While the one above did finish in about 15 minutes. What can I do to make the meshes match? Nov 3, 2013 I have problem with illustrator CC v17.

Whenever I try to install it, I immediately get a screen that says, 'Setup was unable to detect any target applications for AutoCAD Architecture-MEP Oblject Enabler for AutoCAD LT.' I have tried restarting the computer, running the install program with LT on and off, etc. Nov 13, 2013 We have AutoCAD 2014 and 2012 currently in our office. We have a civil file that works perfectly fine with 2014 (we usually save all files down to 2010 so all our consultants can use them).

When we open it in 2012 the object enabler does not seem to work only showing empty boxes with AceeLand90 text in the lower left hand corner. The civil object enabler on 2012 is up to date and the drawing was saved down to 2010. Not sure what I am missing and why it doesn't wort to have the Acee Entities shown in 2012. Jul 5, 2012 I am trying to make an assembly copy as separate project using the iLogic Design Copy feature. Everything seems fine except I do not have my involved in assemblyContet Centerparts in this copy. I am also have no any possibility to chose the Content Center folder in the iLogic Design Copy feature as it does not showup there.
