Blood On The Tracks New York Sessions Rarest

The released version of Blood on the Tracks mixed five songs from the New York sessions with five recorded in Minneapolis. Computax tds software price. This is an extremely rare acetate of the original (and unreleased) version of Blood on the Tracks, with only versions of the songs from the New York sessions.

Fascinating – I read another article written by a guy who worked as a sound techie in the New York studio for one of those recordings of BOTT. He said (I don’t know how true this may be) that Bob had assembled a roomful of session musicians and then played games with them by saying they were going to play a particular song in say, D and then actually playing a different song in another key. After he’d done that a few times the numbers diminished. It does seem a pretty ramshackle way of going about things, but if true it would indicate how fragmented he was feeling and how his imagination circuits were running. He was apparently bewildered when Idiot Wind became the anthem that it is, saying that for him it’s about separation and pain – not a joyride.

I very much enjoyed this article.
