Fixed several problems in fake registry, now it should work better. In particular, there was a query with null data pointer to test for key existence that I didn't emulate properly. There are still some peculiarities, since the game gets the registry data from the saved config file looking for its game entry: 1) changes to fake registry configuration have to be saved (File->Save) before they take effect 2) if multiple entries are present for the same game, always the first one is considered. At a first glance it seems that the 3D rendered scene doesn't get properly cleaned and shows leftovers from the previous frames.

The only thing so far already implemented in DxWnd that may have a chance to fix the problem is the Direct3D flag 'Clear target viewport', I remember it fixed some problem that was somehow similar. If that doesn't work, be ready to capture some logs and sent them to me, to check if there is anything wrong or simply suspicious that could give us a clue for another type of fix. Or maybe it's simply time to change the windshield wipers of your mech!

(please, forgive my humor). I know this graphical glitch! I used to have the same problem many years ago on my old PC. Unfortunately I do not remember how I solved it.

But I have some ideas: • Try an older version graphics driver. (though this might not be possible in Windows 10) • Try looking in the graphics card settings. There may be options there that might fix the issue. • The game 'Heavy Gear' has a similar graphics issue on my current PC.

However using the Dxwnd option 'Locked Surface' fixes it. Perhaps it helps with Mechwarrior 3 also?

• I remember using the Dxwnd option 'Clean ZBUFFER @0.0 fix' to correct a game in the past. Maybe it could help?
