Only thing I could dig up was about dome DirectX issue, they say it will correct itself if you go to uninstall and re-install but this time select to have DirectX installed even though it is an older version it adds in some DLLs that aren't present with the newer DirectX revisions. Might work it might not but I think it is worth giving it a shot.
