Sony Camera Hack Firmware Wd5000aaks

Top page for X Series. Attention: Don't apply version 2.2.1 of the firmware to following models.

@miannac 10th generation drives should not have a compatibility issue with x07 models, (not that I have seen). The error you've experienced could be cause by other disk behavior, refer to your user system log to see if there are any disk errors on disk four, or alternatively, contact online support. @eduole Most likley the cause of your error is stemming from the.11 comaptbility issue, I would suggest contacting online support for further assistance. X09 models should be compatible with Seagate.11 drives with no issue. Hope this helps. @ Franklin Could you please explain me how i can contact synology support?

I have used this form from you signature on friday but i still got no answer. That's a shame that my previous message with this question was deleted.

Obviously your support is not that good as it is stated somewhere on the top of this page. I bought a server from synology - it crashed after about a month. And now i don't get ANY help for about a week. Also i want to remind that this support form yields a message that they will contact me in 24 hours. So now i'm sitting in my office after 4 working days with broken sevre, no access to information that was stored there, with no support. Your post has been deleted not because of the question, but because of the rest you wrote.

If someone doesnt get immediate answer, normaly people ask friendly what happened. Synology obviously had a problem with the email server on friday. For example my support ticket they found in the SPAM folder You may also check your SPAM folder, you wouldnt be the first who found synology mails there. If you post your ticket number here (can be found on the subject line of the automatic generated email you got after submitting a support form), so that Franklin can have a look at the status of this support case.

If you never got such a confirm mail, the problem definitivly is on your mail (or mistyped email address), because at least confirmation mails worked always. Hi everyone, Just another datapoint describing I'm having the same degradation problems and I'm just about to give up on the CS407e but I'll contact support after this post. Details: Model: CS407e Firmware: DSM 2.0-0722 (not 728 since I'm not upgrading a degraded volume) Mode: RAID 5 Drives: 4x 1TB - all four are WDC WD1000FYPS (RE2-GP and officially supported) I've had it degrade three times now. The drives were first tested in my PC and an extended SMART test passed on all four drives. The previous two times it degraded I ran the extended SMART and the tests passed so I thought it was just a freak problem. Now on my third degradation, I'm thinking it's something with the device itself.

I stopped trusting the CS407e after the second degradation and got a 1.5TB to back it up. Now I think it's almost too much hassle to deal with since it takes a very long time to rebuild a 1TB drive. What really disturbing is that the CS407e crashes hard too. I just now ran a SMART test and it stopped responding. Holding down the power LED button did nothing and I had to unplug it. It also failed starting up after then and was stuck in blue-blink mode for 30 mins.

I tried unplugging again a few times but it was stuck. The only way to get it back was to unplug all drives, reboot to single beep, shutdown and plug drives back in. So I'm not a happy customer but I'm still happy with support and I'd love the device when it works. My friend got the 207 and he loves it and has no problems.

Code gameshark character hoshigami ps1. I did contact support before but unfortunately, work got too busy to troubleshoot it. This time I'll do whatever you say except sending the device over. Cheers, Mattias. I think I might be having the same problem as others on this thread, but wanted to throw in a possible workaround for those considering abandoning their CS407 or CS407e.

Have you tried running with only 3 drives installed? Here's my reasoning: I ran my CS407e for many months on 3x500GB Hitachi Deskstar HDP725050GLA360. It got some pretty heavy use as an hourly incremental backup RAID 5 for 4 different Macs using Time Machine (via an unsupported hack). One day a couple months ago, it reported a disk failure (disk 1), so I bought a Western Digital WD5000AAKS-07A7B0 to swap out and it repaired the volume successfully. I then tested the 'failed' Hitachi in an external FireWire enclosure on my Mac, and it formatted and I could copy data to it without error.
